Here's what you did/ are doing this past month:
- Continue to add more words to your vocabulary. Some words can be understood by strangers, others are words that we know what you mean. New words that I remember this month: cupcake, danger, cold, good girl, kick, pool, eyelashes, la lee (Lucye), up, sad, cad (scared), floor,
- Love to help mommy and daddy make their bed by bringing all of the pillows to us.
- Love to help us put clothes in the dryer. We hand you some clothes from the washer and you throw them right into the dryer.
- You also like to spill water on the floor or table from your cup and then grab a towel and clean it up
- Your favorite word is no =).
- You will now ask "go?" when someone or something leaves or disappears and then throw your hands up in there.
- You will hide things underneath you or hide them underneath something and look at us and say "go?" and then pull them out again and laugh because you obviously tricked us
- You have discovered a new love of olives! You love them! I think you would eat a whole jar in one setting if I let you. You even say "olibes". So cute.
- You are getting really good with feeding yourself with a spoon. Sometimes you use it and sometimes you use your hands but you would prefer to feed yourself with the spoon than for us to do it. You like to use your left hand with the spoon more often. We will see if that persists.
- You attended your first cookie decorating party this month.
- So you are doing these really hilarious grumpy scrunchy faces. You get our attention and then you make these faces at us and wait for us to them back to you and then you just laugh and laugh. I really need to get one of these on camera because they are so funny.
- You are learning what hot and cold means and tell when things are hot or cold. You recognize cold better than hot but that's probably because I don't let you touch hot things.
- You had your first round of antibiotics =(. But you did really well on them and bounced right back from it.
- You played in the Chick Fil A playground for the first time and loved it. You climbed all the up to the top without any help.
- Have discovered spinning and think it's really funny.
- Are starting to throw balls and can do it pretty well.
- You can do a five piece peg shape puzzle by yourself and with a tiny bit of help you can do an 8 piece peg shape puzzle.
- You will say sad when you hear kids and babies cry
- You are starting to say "cad" (scared) for when things scare you. ex. Lucye barking loud, loud noises, Daddy's foam roller etc. You will come over to me or daddy and say scared and then grab our arms and hold tight. Sometimes even a buried head in the shoulder. It is so precious. We just reassure and it lasts about 10 seconds.
- You can tell us what a lion, sheep, and dog say as well as bees and owls
- You call Taylor Swift "Ca". I have no idea why but it's hilarious.
You still nap twice a day. I don't know your official stats for weight and height. You wear size 3 diapers when using disposables. You go to bed around 7:30 and wake up at 6. You are still waking up 2-3 times a night.
