21 months!

Oh sweet girl! You brighten our lives! Thank you for being you! 

Here is what you are up to this month:

-So so many new words and phrases. You pick up new words every day. You love to say "Oh goodness!" which cracks me up because you hear me say that a lot. Other ones: "I get it" , "Get it" 

- If someone says bandaids or something on them, you will point to them and say "hurt", "owie". You become very concerned about it too. You will point and say "oh no!" Although sometimes you think things are owies when they aren't such as my friend's foot tattoo or the blue vein on my leg. 

- You can buckle yourself into your high chair, the shopping carts at the grocery store, and your wagon. You are pretty proud of yourself.

- Know all the characters in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. You may be obsessed with that show. 

-However, you do not like Clarebelle the Cow and when she comes on the screen you keep saying "no" until she leaves. 

- You have started to request specific episodes of Mickey Mouse. Right now your favorites are Clubhouse Rocks, Daisy in the Sky, and Daisy's Dance. 

- You are really good at answering yes or no questions in regards to things you want or don't want. Recalling things just depends on how well you are paying attention. =)

- You call the movie Frozen "Summer" because I have only let you watch the song that Olaf sings called "Summer". It makes us laugh.

- You will yell out "summer" like Olaf in the song in Frozen and it is so funny. 

- You love to listen to "God" music a.k.a. worship songs. You request those type of songs by saying "God". Your favorites are O God of Our Salvation, God of Victory, But God, Behold the Christ. You usually fall asleep listening to those songs. I hope you always love to worship God. 

- You like to pretend to blow your nose like daddy and so you will do a raspberry while holding a tissue to your nose. 

- Know what a snake says and will beat your fists against your chest when I ask you what a gorilla says

- Can recognize and name a triangle and square

- You can accurately name and recognize the colors pink, purple, red, orange, green, blue, and yellow

- You are obsessed with certain little girls that you have played with and ask about them all the time. You love our next door neighbor's little girl and then another little girl named Madilyn that is the same age as you. 

- You talk about the little girls that you play with often. You developed little friends. 

- You love to play with play dough. You will squish and poke it. You have so much making "snakes" and you ask for help to make balls. 

- You can recognize and name the numbers 7, 5, 6, 2, and 4. 

- You like to look for fuzz in Daddy's belly button. Ha!

- You can open the doors in the house now but thank goodness you can't open the outside doors yet. 

- You will do the motions to Caps for Sale ex. shaking your fingers, stomping your feet, pretending to throw your hat on the floor, and then you will get to last page and say "slowly, slowly". It is sooooo adorable. 

- You say "get me" or "get you" when you want to be chased. 

- When you do something that is funny that makes us laugh, you will do it over and over again and look at us and wait for our reaction.

- You have started gargling your water when you drink it. 

- You are starting to say more 2 word phrases. You have even said I want blue to request your blue cup!

- You like to give high fives to people and like to give yourself high fives.

- You are starting to sing with songs. So precious!

- You are getting really good at delaying bedtime. Asking for hugs, more water, etc. 

- You love it when we make the fish face and you try to put your finger in the middle of it. You also try to do it back to us but only your mouth moves up and down. 

- You still have only six teeth and have had that for a couple of months. We wonder when you will get some more =)

- You are wearing 24 month size clothes. 

- You are 30 pounds and about 33 inches tall.
