That afternoon we came home and painted the cross and a picture of Jesus. She had a lot of fun with that.
On Saturday morning, Jason had to go work at the hospital (boo!) so E and I headed to the city wide Easter egg hunt event at a local park by ourselves.
They had all the ages separated into age groups. E's group got to go first. She got the hang of it after a minute or 2. She really just wanted to pick up the egg and open it immediately and then close it again and then reopen it. Ha.
She got a pretty decent amounts of eggs once she was all done.
After the egg hunt, I took a couple of pictures of her in front of the creek. She wasn't interested in looking at the camera.
We got to see the "big bunny" while we were there too. She gave him a hug before she would sit on his lap.
After that, we went to the petting zoo. They had goats, sheep, baby bunnies and ducks, a baby cow and a pony and even a turkey! She had fun. (And I just tried to not have a minor anxiety attack that she was touching the animals)
When Daddy got home that afternoon, we went on a wagon ride. She loves her wagon rides.
On Sunday, we went to church and then did things around the house all day since it rained pretty much all day. E enjoyed playing with the empty eggs all day long.
Hope everyone had a great weekend and that you are enjoying a wonderful week!
